Head up to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs for the ultimate end-of-the-work-week altitude adjustment. Every Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m., the mountaintop theme park’s Friday Afternoon Club (FAC) kicks off the weekend with the best views in town, delicious food and drink specials, as well as rollicking live music at a one-of-a-kind venue in the Colorado mountains.
Weekend Lift-Off
You’ve earned it; give your weekend a well-deserved lift starting on Friday afternoon. It’s easy to rise above the mundane when you board Glenwood Gondola. As you ascend the mountain in the signature orange gondola cabins, take in the views of the Roaring Fork Valley unfolding below. In a matter of minutes—the time it takes to go from the valley floor to the top of Iron Mountain—your whole perspective on the week will change for the better. Before you know it, you’ll arrive at Glenwood Cavern’s mountaintop entrance where weekend fun begins.
The Good Stuff
FAC goers can fill their bellies with delicious food and beverages at our mountaintop dining venue. In the winter months, we host FAC at the Lookout Grille. Check out the choice selection of burgers, salads, sandwiches and more. Best of all, during FAC, draft beer is just $5, and menu and other drink specials are also priced to entice!

In addition to superb food and drinks, FAC at Glenwood Caverns is an ideal spot to listen to live music in Glenwood Springs. High above the noise and hubbub of downtown, music lovers can settle in for a few hours of great listening in a cozy setting. Every week, FAC hosts talented local artists who entertain audiences with tunes from across a spectrum of musical genres. Favorite performers coming up include Stone Kitchen, Gerry Goodman Acoustic, Feeding Giants and the Queen Bees. As the band gets rolling, settle in and simply enjoy or show off your moves on the dance floor. The lineup is a work in progress so keep checking back to see who’s booked to play on any given Friday afternoon through Feb. 24.

While many locals and visitors come solely to enjoy FAC, others prefer to spend a full day at the Adventure Park and cap it off with FAC in the evening. For all-day adventure, the park’s Winter Funday Pass is the best value and includes the gondola, thrill rides and cave tours. All that’s required for FAC admission is a ticket to ride the Glenwood Gondola. For locals and music lovers, we recommend our Annual Gondola Pass. With a price tag of just $40, this annual pass provides Gondola access for 365 days yet pays for itself after just two visits!
