Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is where community comes together for music with a mission!
At Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, Music on the Mountain offers full-on concerts by in-demand artists, and something that makes the night out even more meaningful. Every concert is also a “Concert for Community,” where your attendance not only adds to the fun, but supports a local nonprofit.
For just $5 after 5 p.m., guests enjoy an unforgettable mountaintop concert while directly supporting organizations that strengthen our local Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valley communities. And, as if you need a bonus—parking is free after 5 p.m. too, making it one of the best entertainment values of the summer anywhere in the state!
A Concert Venue Like No Other
Outside of Red Rocks Amphitheater, it’s hard to imagine a more unique setting for a live concert than a mountaintop theme park with knock-your-sock-off views that go for miles.
Your evening begins with a scenic gondola ride that transports you high above Glenwood Springs, where panoramic views stretch all the way to Mt. Sopris in Carbondale and beyond. As daylight fades, Nature’s very own light show begins. The surrounding mountains glow and glimmer with the warm hues of sunset before the stars emerge overhead and on stage.
It’s the kind of backdrop that adds a little Colorado magic to every performance.
This year, Glenwood Caverns reimagined Music on the Mountain into four themed concert nights featuring nationally recognized performers, food and drink specials, costumes, and plenty of opportunities to dance the night away. Two concerts were in June, with two remaining in August.
Music That Makes a Difference
What truly sets Music on the Mountain apart is its commitment to giving back.
Each concert benefits a different local nonprofit through the $5 ticket collected after 5 p.m., which even applies to annual pass holders, ensuring every guest helps support a community cause simply by attending.
It’s an easy—and fun—way to enjoy a summer evening while knowing your low-cost admission is helping local organizations change lives right here where we live!
August 15: The Burroughs Benefiting The Buddy Program
Get ready to move.
The Burroughs have earned a reputation for delivering what they proudly call “sweaty soul music”—a high-energy blend of funk, soul, R&B, and infectious grooves that keeps audiences dancing from the first note to the last.
Led by the charismatic Johnny Burroughs and backed by a powerhouse nine-piece band complete with sizzling horns and a dynamic rhythm section, every performance feels like a joyful celebration of music and community.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit The Buddy Program, whose mission is to empower youth through mentoring experiences that help young people achieve their full potential.
August 22: The Petty Nicks Experience Benefiting the Chris Klug Foundation
Classic rock fans won’t want to miss this unforgettable tribute to two legendary artists.
The Petty Nicks Experience captures the heart, harmony, and timeless songs of Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks in a show filled with sing-along favorites, heartfelt storytelling, and the unmistakable nostalgia of classic rock’s greatest hits. Come dressed in your blazers and tees or leather and lace in tribute to these legendary rockers.
The evening supports the Chris Klug Foundation, whose mission is to educate individuals about registering as organ, eye, and tissue donors.
