Gondola Giving Begins Nov. 13

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park invites you to join in Gondola Giving—a fun and philanthropic way to give your neighbors and your spirits a lift this year—beginning on Friday, Nov. 13.

This holiday season—from Friday, Nov. 13 through Thursday, Dec. 24—join Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Gondola Giving. When you give to LIFT-UP during Gondola Giving, we’ll give you a lift up to the Adventure Park for free!

Uplifting Our Community

Gondola Giving marks the start of Winter on the MountainIn the past, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park has collected canned goods and other non-perishable items for LIFT-UP, the local food pantry that feeds countless individuals and families throughout the year. This year, however, we’re asking visitors to donate $25 City Market gift cards and in return for their generosity, we’ll give donors four Glenwood Gondola tickets—an $80 value! Use the tickets whenever you like; they’re valid anytime between Nov. 13, 2020, and Feb. 28, 2021. All of the gift cards collected will be donated to LIFT-UP to provide food assistance to those struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic.

You Make a Difference

LIFT-UP needs your help now more than ever. Hunger is a year-round reality for many in our valley. The COVID-19 pandemic only added to the strain, leaving a significant number of residents unemployed or underemployed and worried about feeding their families. In normal times LIFT-UP provides food for nearly 700 families every month, plus hot meals through two soup kitchen locations. During the pandemic, it is providing emergency food bags to more than 900 families WEEKLY! As the pandemic lingers, the need is expected to increase.

Big Hearts Have Big Fun

Helping LIFT-UP through Gondola Giving is an opportunity to share abundantly and experience the joy that comes with it. In return for your generous donation to LIFT-UP, we’ll give you four tickets to ride the Glenwood Gondola to America’s only mountaintop theme park.

Use your gondola tickets to enjoy Winter on the Mountain, the Park’s annual event that features festive holiday lighting, socially-distanced visits with Santa, outdoor fire pits to roast s’mores, a musical Christmas tree and much more. Winter on the Mountain begins on Nov. 13 and runs through Feb. 28. This year’s event is sponsored by Community Banks of Colorado, Coca Cola, Richard’s Law Office, Glenwood Insurance and Allstate.

To take fun to even higher heights, you can upgrade your Glenwood Gondola ticket to include access to the Adventure Park’s thrill rides including the Alpine Coaster and cave tours to King’s Row and the Historic Fairy Caves, as well as family attractions like the 4-D theater and laser tag.

When you give a little, you get a lot back with Gondola Giving at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. Learn more and make plans to spread cheer and goodwill in a season of need.
