Not So Spooky Halloween Fun at Glenwood Caverns

Halloween is a family-friendly day at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. On Sunday, October 31, youngsters in costume can enjoy fun and games all Hallow’s Eve long!

Halloween at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is more smiles than scowls, more treats than tricks and more fun than frights. America’s only mountaintop theme park is pulling out all the broomsticks for a family-friendly Halloween celebration on Sunday, October 31.

Organized by our team of operations pros, the day has been set up for kids to play games, enjoy sweet treats and even offer adults a few fun options as well.

Costumes, Candy & Games Oh My!

Halloween fun at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park It all begins with free admission to the Adventure Park for children ages 12 and younger who arrive in costume. We’ll be dressed up in our spooky and silly best, and we look forward to seeing your creative conjurings as well. We encourage you to go “all-out” with your costumes, the more elaborate and imaginative the better. At 3 p.m., we’ll be hosting a costume contest on the Plaza stage with prizes you won’t want to miss out on!

After you arrive at the mountaintop, pick up your free trick or treat bag and begin making the rounds at trick or treat stations throughout the park. In addition to acquiring plenty of goodies, there will be a host of fun Halloween games for kids to play including ring toss, candy corn bowling and pumpkin tic-tac-toe!

Treats for Kids & Adults

Fear not grown-ups, we’ve got a little something special for you as well. Our bartenders have concocted some delicious drink specials specifically for the over-21 crowd. Find these yummy drinks, as well as delicious lunch and dinner options at the Lookout Grille. Visitors can also pick up delicious food from The Smokehouse. Kids of all ages wishing to indulge their sweet tooth will be delighted by the selection of seasonal Halloween Fudge and caramel candy apples available in the Gift Shop.

In addition to all the mild mannered spookiness, the Adventure Park’s family attractions and cave tours are open and available to enjoy with the purchase of a Funday Pass or individual tickets.
