Wonder what it feels like to fly? Ride the Zip Ride at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and find out. On this tandem zip ride, guests board at ground level not far from the Alpine Coaster ride on the west side of the park.
Once seated and strapped-in they are pulled backwards—ever higher—600 feet up the mountain, where they pause for just a moment. Then, suddenly, they reverse direction for a thrilling zip ride back down to the ground. With the wind on your face, you’ll feel like an eagle soaring through the Colorado high country on this exhilarating ride. Just like a bird, you’ll come in for a graceful landing back at the launch pad.

Occasionally rides are closed due to maintenance or weather. Check our rides and attractions status to see that your favorite rides are open. Also, for the best value, we recommend purchasing the Funday pass online which includes gondola rides, cave tours and unlimited turns on all the rides and attractions!
Fun Fact
The Soaring Eagle Zip Ride was installed in 2014. Since then it has been relocated within the park three times. At one time visitors had to climb steps to board it. Now, ground level boarding makes it more accessible and visitor friendly. Two side by side zip rides also make it possible to double the number of riders.

A Release of Liability Waiver (Exención Por Actividades) must be signed prior to enjoying all rides and attractions. To save yourself time, please download, print and bring this waiver with you. One waiver per person is required. Riders younger than 18 must have a parent’s or guardian’s signature on the waiver. * Some rides and attractions are seasonal. Rides may be closed at any time due to weather or maintenance. Please check at Gondola Base before purchasing tickets. For the safety of our guests, safety restrictions are enforced on all attractions.
